Winter Welcome Schedule

Welcome Week is a tradition at Penn State University full of activities to help you get to know your Penn State home, meet new friends, and learn about your new academic opportunities.

Many of the activities held during Winter Welcome are required for all new students; however you will have some choices, too.

Winter Welcome is a combined event that includes New Student Orientation and Welcome Week events.

Don't miss the Signature events indicated with:Paw Print

Required events include:  College Dean's Meetings on Sunday for all first-year, change-of-campus, and transfer students; and, Course Scheduling and Academic Advising for those who have not finalized a schedule of courses for spring semester (see times and locations below).

The 2015 Winter Welcome Schedule is listed below. For additional events and information refer to the Winter Welcome Schedule found in Preface Magazine which will be mailed to domestic students' permanent addresses. International students will receive a copy when they check in to International Student Orientation.
