Link UP Resource Fair

Welcome to the 2021 Virtual Link UP Resource Fair!  

Below you will find links to join Zoom meetings hosted by offices dedicated to your success as a student and member of the University Park community. These virtual spaces are hosted by staff who are eager to share information and answer your questions. Staff will only be available in this space during the times of 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. EDT. Try to visit as many "virtual tables" as possible during this time! 

Resource Fair Instructions: To get started, click on the menus below titled "Campus Resources", "Student Success Resources", "Involvement and Identity Resources", and "Academic Colleges". The selected menu will drop down to reveal which departments are available to speak with today. Click "Visit Office" to join their Zoom rooms! 

Additionally, optional Information Sessions will be offered at 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. EDT. These information sessions will last for about 30  minutes so we suggest you try to join as close to the start time as possible.

Campus Resources

Off-Campus Student Support | Visit Office

The Office of Off-Campus Student Support is a resource and support service for students. The office serves as the primary contact and liaison with community apartment owners and managers, business leaders, and community officials regarding students living off-campus.
 
University Health Services Student Insurance Advocate | Visit Office

The UHS Student Insurance Advocate advocates for student needs in medical situations, medical insurance, and translating it into an easy way for students to comprehend. They can help you understand how insurance works, how your insurance applies to your situation, and more.
 
University Police and Public Safety | Visit Office

University Police and Public Safety provides multiple resources and services, including police services, behavioral threat management, Clery compliance and police records, emergency management, and physical security.
 
Penn State Transportation Services | Visit Office

Penn State Transportation offers parking permits, Zipcars, ADA parking, bus routes, bike registration, and more to all students, faculty, and staff at Penn State.
 
Student Legal Services | Visit Office

Student Legal Services provides advice, representation, referrals, and other legal services to University Park students facing personal legal issues. To get started, complete their intake form or stop by drop-in hours.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) | Visit Office

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is open and available to help all students and offers a wide range of services including wellness and self-help options; group, individual, and couples counseling; crisis intervention; psychiatric services; and community education and outreach services for the University community.
 
Sokolov-Miller Financial and Life Skills Center | Visit Office

The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center’s mission is to provide students with the ability to use knowledge and skills to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial wellbeing.

Involvement and Identity Resources

Student Activities | Visit Office

The Office of Student Activities cultivates student learning by fostering exploration, community engagement, and development through educational and experiential opportunities. Through participation in programs and leadership opportunities offered by the Office of Student Activities, students will develop skills and attributes related to being a good leader, a good citizen, and a good student.
 
EPPIC (English for Professional Purposes Intercultural Center) | Visit Office

EPPIC is an academic center designed to provide advanced English language support to international students and scholars at Penn State and to foster engaged intercultural communication across the Penn State community.
 
Gender Equity Center | Visit Office

Penn State’s Gender Equity Center (GenEq) supports students who have been impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and other campus climate issues. GenEq staff provide education, advocacy, referrals, and crisis intervention/support counseling. All services are free and confidential.
 
Office of Veterans Programs | Visit Office

The Office of Veterans Programs (OVP) at the University Park campus is organized as a comprehensive, direct service unit for military-affiliated students and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) benefits recipients. The office is staffed by six full-time professionals and approximately twenty student veterans who work part-time under the provisions of DVA work-study
 
Multicultural Resource Center | Visit Office

The (MRC) provides individual college counseling and educational services for undergraduate multicultural students at University Park and assists students in meeting the challenges associated with education and attaining a degree at a major research institution.
