When Will You Meet?

Use Starfish to schedule your meeting with an adviser in your intended major. 

Please contact ScienceNSO@psu.edu if you have not heard from a program adviser.

Where Will You Meet?

Your advising meeting confirmation is sent to your Penn State email.

The email will include:

  • The date and time of your meeting
  • The Zoom link for joining

alarm clock About Your Appointment Time!

  • Appointments are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5).
    For example: If your appointment is from 9:15 a.m.–9:45 a.m., join by 9:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
  • Check your Penn State email regularly for updates—especially right before your meeting! 
    If any changes are made, we’ll notify you via email.

Start Preparing

Your advising meeting will be more productive the better prepared you are going in. Before your scheduled meeting, make sure to revisit your NSO tasklist and complete all steps including:

  • Course Planning Guide
  • Pre-Registration Activity Guides (REQUIRED)
  • Transfer Credit Survey
