Parking

Each student is provided with a complimentary parking code for NSO that will allow one vehicle per student to park at no cost during your NSO visit. We will send you an email one week in advance of your orientation with this parking code.

Once you receive your parking code via email, please follow these instructions:

  • Have the parking code ready that was sent in your NSO reminder email.
  • Find and select your scheduled NSO date from the list of events (you must pick the first day of your scheduled NSO)

  • Click “Filters & Access Codes, scroll down and enter your specific NSO parking code to unlock available parking options. This code is case sensitive.
  • Select a parking area for your NSO visit from the list of available
    • To continue, login with an existing ParkMobile account, create a ParkMobile account or continue as a guest to reserve parking
    • For students and families with a vehicle 7’0” or taller, please do not select a parking deck as your parking location
    • Students traveling to NSO with no guests should choose Lot 81 at your lot
  • Enter all required information to complete the reservation
    • The license plate information entered must match that of the vehicle parked on campus for NSO. If a different vehicle must be used, you must contact ParkMobile Customer Support to update your NSO parking reservation prior to your arrival on campus.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from ParkMobile with your reservation.

You are responsible for any tickets issued or parking expense incurred if you choose to park in another area of campus.

Penn State has taken every opportunity to make the campus accessible to drivers and passengers with disabilities. Regular and van accessible parking spaces exist on campus to meet the needs of visitors. You are able to park in any open (non-reserved, non-metered) parking spaces on campus with your ADA plate/hang tag. Additional information about ADA Parking can be found on the parking web site.

Upon arrival to campus for NSO, your first stop will be our NSO drop-off location, just in front of the Pollock Building. The next step will be to visit NSO Check-in. The check-in process is only for students; if you are traveling with any guests, they will be directed to the HUB-Robeson Center to meet up with you upon completion of the check-in process.
